Tara Marcus

Tara Marcus is a top-rated speaker, consultant and expert on women’s leadership.

She co-founded DillonMarcus, a company that specializes in improving Senior Team performance in 2001.  Her firm offers a proprietary 0-60™ Senior Team Assessment and year-long process that helps Senior Teams function at a world-class level.   

At the request of a female CEO, Tara and her team created the ground-breaking
Unleashing Women!™ curriculum in 2011.  Graduates from the program report significant advances in their careers within one year following their participation in the program – and some during the program! 

As Vice President at Knutson Mortgage Corporation, Tara built an Inside Sales Center with annual production of $820 million, serving 500 nationally based Wholesale and Private Label accounts.  She also advised the President regarding corporate vision, organizational structure and strategic planning efforts.  She successfully led transition team activities for business acquisitions involving systems integration, personnel management and maintenance of marketplace continuity. 

Tara spent the formative part of her career bringing GE's ideas to life creating a highly acclaimed innovative strategic sharing day for GE Capital Mortgage Services (the forest) and leading countless Work-Out process improvement sessions (the trees).  During that time, Tara earned GE's prestigious Presidential and Summit Club awards in recognition of her contributions. 

Tara, a 2018 recipient of the National Association of Women Business Owner (NAWBO) award, is a former GE Capital Alumna who holds a graduate degree in Training & Organizational Development.  She was an Adjunct Professor in the Rutgers MBA program and is a former instructor for the iconic Dale Carnegie® course.  Tara’s social responsibility activities include sending inner-city students on overnight field trips. 

When not working, Tara spends time with her three boys riding crazy extreme rollercoasters and then recovering with yoga.

Evan Marcus

Evan Marcus is a sought-after keynote speaker, but CEO's know him for his work with Executive Teams.  A co-founder of DillonMarcus, Evan has spent the last 25 years working hand-in-hand with Senior Leaders, helping them to clarify strategy, build powerful teams and overcome barriers to success.  The process starts with DillonMarcus' proprietary Way-to-World-Class 0-60™ Senior Team Assessment.  

Evan consults with CEO's and Senior Executives who are interested in taking their company to the next level and who want to maintain a strong connection to their purpose. He also founded the Sounding Board™ - a members-only C-Suite group that provides back-stage access to high performing CEOs and their organizations.  A natural coach, Evan advises leaders on an individual and group basis.

Early in his career, Evan studied with a number of world-renowned scholars in the field of personal transformation & group dynamics. Evan’s master’s thesis, "Mental Preparation in Elite Athletes" convinced him that setting intentions and cultivating focus are essential ingredients for unleashing potential.  A teacher at heart, Evan was a guest professor at the Wharton School of Business and was an adjunct faculty member for MBA students at Rutgers University for almost a decade.  At the core, he is on a mission to help leaders and their organizations transform the world through business.

With a MA in Psychology from Antioch University, a BA in Judaic Studies from Hofstra University and three and a half years at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Evan draws upon his rich educational background and broad work experience to help his clients determine and address critical issues impacting themselves and their organizations.

Nancy Shapiro

Nancy Shapiro is a Senior Facilitator &  Management Coach for DillonMarcus.

Nancy brings over 15 years experience as an HR Vice President in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Consumer Goods industries.  After holding senior HR leadership positions in Johnson and Johnson, Janssen and McNeil companies where she oversaw large-scale mergers, sat on numerous company Boards, led complex change and global integration initiatives, Nancy has joined the Dillon Marcus team. 

With a deep understanding of the world of advancement, promotion, and diversity and inclusion within the corporate space, Nancy uses her knowledge to counsel others to achieve greater success.  Her expertise includes Women’s Leadership, Talent Development and Executive Coaching.  Nancy is a coach to leaders advancing their career or looking to make significant change in career objectives.  Nancy uses her strong facilitation skills and organizational effectiveness expertise to help teams achieve extraordinary results.

Tom Burgoyne

Tom Burgoyne is a Keynote Speaker & Senior Facilitator for DillonMarcus.

Long-time Phillies public address announcer, Dan Baker, calls the Phillie Phanatic the “most beloved mascots in all of sports.” And who can argue? The Phillies wildly popular mascot has been atop Forbes Magazine’s list of Best Mascots for years and appears regularly on local and national sports highlight shows. He has jammed on stage with rock stars, dined with Supreme Court Justices and has led championship parades down Broad Street. When you go to a Phillies game, it’s hard to miss the Phillie Phanatic. Whether he is on the field taunting the visiting team or leading cheers for the home team, the Phanatic is sure to put a smile on your face.

The man that brings the Phillie Phanatic to life is Tom Burgoyne. He is currently in his 30th season, and has performed in front of over 60 MILLION fans at Phillies home games. Not only that, Tom has suited up over 6,000 times at appearances locally and around the world bringing the Phanatic’s special brand of humor to sports fans everywhere.

Vince McFarlane

Vince McFarlane conducts Business Development activities and is a Senior Facilitator & Coach for DillonMarcus.

Vince developed his skills as an Account Executive, Sales Manager, Training Manager, and General Manager with several global organizations. Having held Sales, Sales Management and Sales Training positions with Baxter Healthcare, The Pepsi Cola Bottling Group, Sara Lee Corporation, and The Coca-Cola Company, Vince is well versed in the issues and opportunities related to facilitating the Business Development and Client/Customer Relationship Management Processes.

He has in-depth experience with Miller Heiman's suite of products and his broad, global perspective enables him to communicate effectively in all situations, regardless of industry or cultural considerations.

Vince holds a dual Bachelor of Sciences degree in Marketing and Psychology from Florida A & M University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Southern California.

Joel Sand

Joel Sand is Chief Benefit's Officer for DillonMarcus.  

He brings with him more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry.  His areas of expertise includes cost management, strategic planning, government relations, contract negotiations, and operational guidance.

Joel began his career with Grinspec Consulting (now Brown and Brown), where he held several roles and titles, including Regional Vice President.  He was also Director of Insurance Services for ABCO Federal Credit Union and is Director of Institutional Services for Kistler Tiffany Benefits.  

Joel is an active member of the South Jersey Association of Health Underwriters and he received a degree in civil engineering from Syracuse University.

Ken Branch

Ken Branch is an Advisor, Senior Facilitator & Business Development Coach for DillonMarcus. 

Ken has been in the insurance space for over 36 years.  He started his career as an independent life insurance agent and joined the Allstate management team in 1984; His most recent positions were Vice President of Sales for Allstate and Encompass Independent Agents, running an $8 billion business. 

Under Ken’s leadership, both Encompass and Allstate independent agent programs added more than 1,000 agents and went from shrinking to growing profitable businesses. 

Ken is committed to helping organizations grow and succeed.  He has a degree in secondary education from Hendrix College and an MBA from the University of Illinois Chicago and is currently on the Executive Board of NAAIA national.

Jeff Connor

Jeff Connor is a Senior Facilitator & Coach for DillonMarcus.

Jeff was the Inaugural Chief Growth Officer for Aramark Global Food, Hospitality and Facility Services. 

He is a visionary C-level leader who has used innovative and interventional tactics during his over 25 years as a sales and marketing professional, to become a recognized thought-leader in the B2B space. 

 Jeff is a wonderful coach, story teller and facilitator.  Along with his "on the court" leadership experience, he is an ideal DillonMarcus team member.

In his role as Aramark's Chief Growth Officer, Jeff cemented his status as a market leader by conceiving, designing and implementing the Center of Excellence which drove up new client acquisition and company revenues.  The Center of Excellence, coupled with outstanding growth overall, contributed to Aramark’s successful IPO in 2013.

 Jeff enjoys searching out the next best golf course to play on and is an avid collector and car enthusiast.   He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and currently lives in Geneva, Illinois.
